Happy Halloween!

Make sure to come back on Wednesday for my Share the Wealth Wednesday Link Party!
This weekend we got to go to the pumpkin patch as a family, and it got me thinking.  I really haven't done any Halloween posts!  So here's what I've been working on...

This was one of Elle's costumes, I made a simple tutu (tutu tutorial), and then I dyed a onesie orange and then used a freezer paper stencil (tutorial) to paint on the pumpkin face.
Then I made this ghost costume for a friend's daughter using the same techniques.

I made the same kind of shirt for daddy, no tutu though!

Then I made some new hair clips for my little lady to wear!

I made this onesie for Elle to wear to the Pumpkin Patch using the freezer paper technique mentioned above, then cut out Hocus Pocus using my Cricut (tutorial).

Last week we got this adorable spider hat from our library's toddler time.
Hope these ideas inspire you!

Make sure to check out my post from last Halloween.

  1. Very cute costumes and I love the adorable hair bows. I'm off to check out your freezer paper tutorials, I've been wondering how to do that for a while, thanks for sharing!

  2. Wow! You get a lot done with not a lot of time! I love the pumpkin and ghost costumes. The addition of a tutu makes them so unique.

(Stopping by from the Will See it Wednesday Linky...) I linked up a cloth quiet book that I made. It's the perfect thing to keep the little ones entertained: http://www.tmuffin.com/2011/10/upcycled-contest-cloth-quiet-books.html
