DIY Last Minute Kids Holiday Gift~ Cheap!

"Holiday" Play Dough

Ingredients:
1 cup flour
1 cup water
1 tablespoon oil
1/2 cup salt
*2 tablespoons vanilla/peppermint extract/pumpkin spice/cinnamon
*Food Coloring
Directions:
First, mix all dry ingredients. Then, add oil and water. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until reaching the consistency of mashed potatoes. Remove from heat and add flavoring and food coloring. Divide into balls and work in color by kneading the play-dough.

If you want to create a variety of scents, divide your recipe and use two different pots.

Store in ice cream pails, holiday zip-loc baggie or cute holiday (cookie) containers.

It would be great to give this to a child between 3-7.  Create a cute little gift basket with the play-dough, and some cookie cutters!
